The National Taxation Bureau of Taipei, Ministry of Finance, stated that members of the public can use carriers to store cloud invoices when making purchases, link all their carriers to their mobile barcode before the lottery drawing, and set up a remittance account. If they have a winning invoice, the prize money will be automatically remitted to the designated account, providing a convenient and time-saving way to claim prizes.

The Bureau explained that to encourage the public to store cloud invoices using carriers, the government provides a variety of carriers, which can be classified into common carriers and non-common carriers. Common carriers can be used at all business entities issuing cloud invoices; the mobile barcode is one example. Non-common carriers include membership carriers issued by business entities, electronic payment cards (such as EasyCard, iPASS, and iCash), credit cards (including debit cards), and email carriers provided by offshore electronic service suppliers. Carrier consolidation refers to linking the above carriers to a mobile barcode so that cloud invoices stored in those carriers can be managed through the mobile barcode.

The public may link their carriers to a mobile barcode using either of the following methods:

Method 1: Log in to the E-Invoice Integration Service Platform, Ministry of Finance (hereinafter referred to as the "Integration Service Platform") and select "Binding Settings" to link carriers to the mobile barcode.

Method 2: Download the Ministry of Finance Uniform Invoice Redemption App, log in with a mobile phone number and verification code, tap "Carrier Consolidation," and then tap "Add Carrier" to link carriers to the mobile barcode.

The Bureau pointed out that after each Uniform Invoice lottery drawing, some winning prizes remain unclaimed even after the claiming deadline. If members of the public use carriers to store cloud invoices when making purchases and complete carrier consolidation before the lottery drawing, they can go to the "Remittance Account Setting" page on the Integration Service Platform, click "Enable automatic remittance of winnings," and enter the required prize claim details. After the lottery drawing, the prize money will be automatically remitted to the designated account, ensuring they do not miss out on their prizes.

The Bureau would like to remind the public to complete carrier consolidation to a mobile barcode and enable the automatic remittance of winnings by setting up a designated bank account before the lottery drawing. If they have a winning invoice, the prize money will be automatically remitted to the designated account, providing a convenient and time-saving way to claim prizes and ensuring that they do not miss out on any prize they win.
