The National Taxation Bureau of Taipei, Ministry of Finance, said that in order to provide better service quality and a more comfortable business environment for the public, the Zhongzheng Branch of the Bureau has relocated and will continue to serve the public from March 11, 2024 (Monday) at its new location at 3F, No. 8, Section 1, Roosevelt Rd., Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Taiwan. The service phone number remains 02-2396-5062. 

The Bureau explained that the new location of the Zhongzheng Branch is in the Nanmen Market Building in Zhongzheng District, which is near the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall Station of Taipei Mass Rapid Transit (hereinafter referred as “MRT”). The public can take multiple bus lines such as 18, 208, 252, 644, 648, 660, 849, Heping Main Line, and Roosevelt Road Main Line, and get off at either “MRT Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall (Bureau of Labor Insurance)” or “MRT Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall (Roosevelt Rd.)” stop. Alternatively, they can take the MRT Songshan-Xindian Line or Tamsui-Xinyi Line to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall Station and exit from Exit 2. The public is welcome to visit for inquires.

To facilitate public inquiries, the Zhongzheng Branch has transformed the 3rd floor of the new address into a comprehensive service environment. In addition to consolidating the general services counter, estate and gift tax filing counter, commodity tax refund counter, and business tax assessment counter in the lobby on the 3rd floor, individual income tax service area, business tax service area, profit-seeking enterprise income tax service area, and service management matters are also provided on the same floor. Service hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday to Friday), and general services counter, estate and gift tax filing counter will continue to operate during lunchtime to provide high-quality services to the public.
